April 26- Yanks clobber Bosox, 21-28-3/7-12-4. Yanks hit 8 homers (Gordon, Henrich and Dahlgren 2 each). Gordon 5-7, 5 RBI, 2 homers. Every Yank starter had at least 1 hit, including starting pitcher Pearson.
 
April 27 - Red Sox beat A's, 14-16-4/4-8-3. Every Boston starter, including pitcher Bagby, had at least 1 hit. Bees beat Phils, 17-24-1/1-5-1. Every Bee starter, including pitcher Posedel, had at least 1 hit.
 
April 30 - Tigers beat Nats, 24-26-3/7-8-2 as they score 12 in top of 3rd. Every Tiger starter, except pitcher Bridges, had at least 2 hits.

June 8 - Bosox sweep Tigers, taking nightcap, 17-21-0/6-10-1. Every Boston starter, except pitcher Galehouse, had at least 1 hit. Red Sox lead NY by 1/2 game.
 
June 15 - Tigers (Bridges) beat Nats, 17-15-1/2-6-2.
 
June 20 - Tigers (Newsom) beat A's in opener, 17-23-1/4-7-0. Newsom (12-2, 2.72) 4-5, 4 RBI, homer. Every Tiger starter, except SS Bartell, had at least 1 hit. Detroit wins nightcap 14-1, moving into 1st over Boston by 1/2 game. Phillies (Higbe) beat Reds 5-4 in 10, snapping the Reds' 10 game-winning streak.
 
June 22 - Tigers (Bridges) beat Yanks, 16-15-2/8-9-4. Rudy York Grand Slam, 10 RBI, 2 homers, double. Every Tiger starter, except catcher Tebbetts, had at least 1 hit. Nats beat Browns, 15-16-1/14-18-0. Every Brown starter, except pitcher Auker, had at least 1 hit.
 
June 26 - Tigers beat Bosox, 16-22-3/3-9-1, completing 3 game sweep. Detroit now leads AL by 6 1/2. Every Tiger starter, including pitcher Gorsica (2-3, 2 runs, homer) had at least 1 hit. Only Greenberg and York had only 1 hit. Pinky Higgins had 4 hits, Bartell (4 RBI), McCoskey, Campbell and Tebbetts (4 RBI) had 3 each.
 
June 29 - Tigers sweep beat Browns, winning in opener, 17-17-1/0-3-1 (every Tiger had at least 1 hit), and in nightcap, 18-20-0/1-4-2. Pitcher Schoolboy Rowe (5-3, 2.28, .300) batted 5-6, 9 RBI, double. Every Tiger starter, except Bartell, had at least 1 hit.
 
July 1 - Cubs beat Pirates, 22-25-1/3-7-3. Every Cub starter except Galan had at least 1 hit. Hack 5-7, 4 RBI, 4 runs, 3 doubles; Nicholson 4-6, 5 RBI, homer; Mattick 4-6, 3 RBI, double.
 
July 16 - Cards score 11 runs (9 hits) in top of 1st against Bees. Cards win, 15-20-0/0-3-3. Terry Moore 6-6, 1 RBI, 3 runs, homer.
 
July 17 - Tigers' Bobo Newsom (18-2/2.38) beats Bosox in opener, 7-10-2/0-3-2. This is Newsom's 14th straight win, beating record of 13 (Newcombe '56).
 
July 28 - A's (Johnny Babich, 9-8, 3.59) beat Tigers, 6-9-1/5-11-0 as Bobo Newsom's (18-3, 2.58) 14 game winning streak is snapped.
 
July 30- Washington beats Browns, 16-21-1/10-15-1 as they score 11 in top of 9th. Every Nat has at least 2 hits, escept catcher Farrell (0-3, walk ) and pitcher Leonard (1-6). Phils' Mulcahy (4-17, 4.87) 1-hits Cubs. Bonura double w/1 out in top of 7th is Cubs' only hit.
 
July 31 - Red Sox beat Tribe, 15-19-3/8-12-3. Every Boston starter, including pitcher Galehouse, had at least 1 hit. Washington beats Browns, 10-17-1/3-10-3. Every Nat gets at least 1 hit (2nd straight day!). Pitcher Ken Chase (9-6, 3.42) is 3-5, run, RBI, double. Cards sweep bees, taking nightcap, 18-20-0/2-9-1. Every Card starter had at least 1 hit.
 
August 4 - Browns beat A's in opener, 15-20-2/14-13-4. Every Brown starter, including starting pitcher Niggeling, had at least 1 hit.
 
August 5 - Yanks beat Bosox in Tiny Bonham's debut, 14-17-0/1-4-2. Every Yank player has at least 1 hit.
 
August 6 - Tigers Newsom (20-3, 2.53) wins his 20th, beating Browns, 6-11-1/1-2-0.
 
August 10 - Bums beat Bees, 4-13-1/1-6-0 as all Bum starters get at least 1 hit, including pitcher Lee Grissom (1-1, 4.58).
 
August 11 - Reds (Derringer, 18-4, 2.94) beat Cards 7-11-2/3-13-1 but Cards' Mize goes back over .400 (.402) as he goes 4-4 with 2 homers.
 
August 16 - Feller wins his 20th (20-9, 2.62) as he beats Browns, 2-10-0/0-5-0. Trosky drives in both runs with a homer and a double.
 
August 20 - Phils' "Losing Pitcher" Mulcahy drops his 20th (6-20, 4.96), as Cubs win, 6-11-4/4-8-2.

September 10 - Pirates beat Phils in opener, 22-21-0/0-3-2. Every Buc had at least 1 hit.
